A New Approach

Our mission is to make sure students have the safest, most enriching and exciting Spanish experience possible.

Safest

Our students are supervised 24 hours a day from the moment they arrive in Spain.

• 9:30am – 7:30pm weekdays by our Spanish Language Teachers, Sports Counselors and Program Directors.
• 7:30pm – 9:30am weekdays and during the weekends students are under the supervision of their host family.

While the student is in Spain, the Program Directors, will have a daily contact with host families to ensure communication lines remain open and any possible concerns are immediately addressed. Program Directors can also be contacted as frequently as needed and at any time outside the scheduled meetings.

Students will have a full and varied schedule that will allow them to fully experience Spanish life from many different angles.

The thrice weekly language classes will lay the foundation for students to fully enjoy the cultural and outdoor life program that they will experience every day, and which will be complemented by a rich daily program of cultural activities and life experiences that will increase their knowledge of Spain and expand their cultural awareness – and help them discover what makes Spain unique, different and fun.

They will live and experience everyday Spanish life and discover traditional customs. Market day; local traditional sports (similar to Scottish Highland games) and typical Spanish food are just some examples of some of the traditions to be discovered.

Our afternoon outdoor activities are deliberately designed to give students a varied, hands-on experience that is unique to this region of Spain.

They will visit castles, palaces, Roman aqueducts and amphitheaters, walled cities, cathedrals, and also see modern Spain, such as the Guggenheim museum in Bilbao.

Our outdoor activities will revolve around the sea and mountains which are unique assets this wonderful part of Spain has to offer. Surfing, kayaking, rock climbing and trekking will be practiced weekly.
